Adrià Wegrzyn, wins the Calçots Eating Contest again
The Barcelonian has eaten 200 calçots in 45 minutes
The Adrià Wegrzyn from Barcelona has again been the winner of the calçots food contest held in Valls on Sunday, January 26 as part of the great Calçotada Festival. The competition, which has reached its 35th edition this year, is to see who eats the most calçots for 45 minutes. Adrià in this edition has eaten 200 calçots with a weight of 2,495 grams. Despite the effort he has failed to beat his own record two years ago when he ate 5,800 grams.>
David Martín was ranked second, eating 183 calçots, weighing 2,269 grams and for the second year running, Diana Andrade took third place in this contest.
